| Hello Sheboygan Falls Families! The 2026-27 school year is off to a great start!! We are so excited to have our students back and ready to learn. So many great things are happening already! A major goal for our students this month is for them to be able to identify the three areas of The Falcon Way: Safe, Responsible, and Respectful.
To encourage students to follow The Falcon Way, we’re continuing with Falcon Feathers. When students are observed following behavior expectations, they can earn a Falcon Feather. These feathers can then be used to participate in a variety of reward opportunities. |

Last week and this week, in support of Aimsweb+ testing, Mrs. Andrews and Ms. Beaudry had the opportunity to teach 1st graders and 5K students. The lesson was on how we show respect at SFES!

After a year of additional planning and gathering community input, the Sheboygan Falls School Board voted to place a referendum question on the November 3rd, 2026 ballot.
The proposed $65.7 million bond would support a long-term plan focused on improving safety / accessibility, expanding educational experiences for our students and addressing our aging facilities and infrastructure. The plan builds on years of facility planning, community feedback, facility assessments, and a community-wide survey conducted this spring.
This plan prioritizes renovating and maximizing existing spaces at Sheboygan Falls Elementary School and Sheboygan Falls High School while reducing the overall scope, cost and tax impact. Peak Season for Yellow Jackets: First Aid Tips |
Due to the mild winter and dry spring, we are seeing an increase in the presence of yellow jackets around Wisconsin. Most yellow jacket stings can be safely treated at home by cleaning the area, applying a cold pack, and taking over-the-counter medications to manage pain and swelling. STEP-BY-STEP FIRST AID |

Check for a Stinger: Yellow jackets rarely leave a stinger behind, but if you see one, gently scrape it off using a credit card or your fingernail. Never pinch the stinger as this can release more venom.
- Clean the Wound: Wash the sting site thoroughly with soap and water to lower the risk of infection.

Apply Ice: Wrap an ice pack or a bag of ice in a clean cloth and apply it to the area for 10 to 20 minutes to reduce pain and swelling.
- Elevate the Limb: If the sting is on an arm or a leg, prop it up above the level of your heart to help keep swelling down.

Manage Pain and Itching: Take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen or acetaminophen, and use an oral antihistamine or hydrocortisone cream to ease itching and redness.

SEEK EMERGENCY CARE IF: Trouble breathing, wheezing, or shortness of breath. Swelling of throat, tongue, or lips. Dizziness, confusion, or slurred speech. Stay healthy! |
