A Message from the Principals

Hello Sheboygan Falls Families!

We can’t believe the end of the school year is upon us! So much learning and growth has happened this year. We have ridden the Energy Bus and Created a Positive Vision, Loved our Passengers, and Enjoyed the Ride!! Drive with purpose - without purpose, you won’t have the energy or motivation to persist. When you are working on something truly meaningful, you’ll rarely feel bored or tired.

All of our SFES students and staff have worked hard this year. We have implemented a SOAR time where students work on individualized goals, for this our teachers use data to help students learn and grow on individualized goals and at their appropriate pace. We have seen fantastic vertical growth with this!

We wish all of our students and staff a very safe summer! Remember to keep reading! The Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library is a great place to check out books. Find those red words! Experts recommend that reading 10-20 minutes daily will help maintain and build reading skills over the summer!

Safety Update

Last Day of School Reminder: As we approach the last day of school, just a reminder to practice safe driving procedures if you are picking your child up.  Please continue to be a positive role model and safe citizen by using seatbelts and being aware of other drivers and walkers.  Students enjoy waving too but should remain in their seats (as opposed to hanging out of windows or sunroofs).  Please also be sure to update PikMyKid and / or your child’s teacher well in advance so everyone gets where they need to go successfully at 3:08 pm on Friday, May 30th.

May Safety Drill: In May, we held an ALICE drill. This drill helps us practice the ALICE strategies with students. Our staff guide our students in thinking about the situation and choosing evacuation or lockdown. We did this on Thursday, May 15th, and everyone did great! We continue to grow and learn best practices in order to be safe every day in every situation.

Reminder: Family Engagement Survey

Our District values your feedback! As communicated, we are surveying the School District of Sheboygan Falls families to gain insight into your perception of our School and District effectiveness. We need your feedback to ensure we continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and careers.

To administer these surveys, we have partnered with Panorama Education to conduct our 2025 Family Engagement Survey. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses confidential. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools as good as they can be.

Thank you to everyone who has already completed the survey! If you have not yet had an opportunity, please, you may complete the survey online up until May 30th, 2025, using a computer, tablet, or smartphone by clicking on the following link (Note if you have children in multiple buildings in the District, select the building you would most like to give feedback on  in the first section of the survey): https://surveys.panoramaed.com/sheboyganfallswi/7550049359/surveys

Thank you for your thoughtful responses! If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.

END OF YEAR MEDICATION PROCEDURE

Parents of students who have medication at school:

A reminder that you are expected to pick up your son or daughter’s medication at the end of the school year. Unless the student’s medication form indicates that they may carry and administer their own medication, the student may NOT transport their own medication home.  Medication must be picked up prior to the last day of school (Friday, May 30th). We cannot store any medication over the summer.

If you do not want the medication remaining, or have any questions, please email dtimler@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us or jaknier@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us.

Thank you all for helping us successfully make it through another school year!
