Hello MS Families,

As we wrap up the school year, a thank you to our parents and families for your support throughout the year. The Middle School years can be a challenging time for students, staff and families too ~ we are proud of the growth our students have made academically, behaviorally, and socially.

Our highly anticipated End-of-Year Carnival is today! This school-wide celebration is a true team effort, with students, staff, and community members coming together to make it a memorable event. Thank you all!

And a reminder that our 8th-grade graduation ceremony is tomorrow (Thursday, May 29th) at the Middle School, starting at 6:00 PM in the gym. Come join us in sending off our 8th graders!

Thank you for your continued partnership in making Sheboygan Falls Middle School a vibrant and successful learning community!

Sincerely,

Ryan Zak, SFMS Principal

Safety Update

In May, the Middle School performed two safety drills.  The students and staff practiced a medical hold where the staff responded to a situation and students continued on with their learning.  The MS also performed our Spring ALICE drill.  The MS was able to do reteaching of the safety protocol during the week, followed up by practicing a specific scenario.  The staff and students excelled in taking the drill seriously and acting appropriately.

Reminder: Family Engagement Survey

Our District values your feedback! As communicated, we are surveying the School District of Sheboygan Falls families to gain insight into your perception of our School and District effectiveness. We need your feedback to ensure we continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and careers.

To administer these surveys, we have partnered with Panorama Education to conduct our 2025 Family Engagement Survey. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses confidential. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools as good as they can be.

Thank you to everyone who has already completed the survey! If you have not yet had an opportunity, please, you may complete the survey online up until May 30th, 2025, using a computer, tablet, or smartphone by clicking on the following link (Note if you have children in multiple buildings in the District, select the building you would most like to give feedback on  in the first section of the survey): https://surveys.panoramaed.com/sheboyganfallswi/7550049359/surveys

Thank you for your thoughtful responses! If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.

END OF YEAR MEDICATION PROCEDURE

Parents of students who have medication at school:

A reminder that you are expected to pick up your son or daughter’s medication at the end of the school year. Unless the student’s medication form indicates that they may carry and administer their own medication, the student may NOT transport their own medication home.  Medication must be picked up prior to the last day of school (Friday, May 30th). We cannot store any medication over the summer.

If you do not want the medication remaining, or have any questions, please email dtimler@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us or jaknier@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us.

Thank you all for helping us successfully make it through another school year!
