A Message from the Principals |

Hello MS Families,
As the 2025 calendar year concludes, we encourage everyone to pause and reflect on our successes and identify areas for growth as we look toward 2026. The Middle School team has been working diligently with students during our SOAR period, connecting with them about their "citizenship grades" and helping them establish actionable goals for the new year. Just a reminder that these grades reflect our core values: being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe throughout the school day. 5th-8th Citizenship Rubric
Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for our Band and Choir winter concerts this month. The students and staff were excited to show off their hard work, and we truly appreciate your support.
When we return from winter break, there will only be a couple of weeks remaining in the first semester. We encourage you to use the winter break period to login to Infinite Campus and check your student's academic progress. If you have any questions or concerns regarding grades, please reach out directly to the appropriate staff member.
Thank you for your support and partnership. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Ryan Zak, SFMS Principal
Lindsey Schreurs, SFMS Associate Principal

Family safety is a top priority. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is a great resource for providing SAFETY TIPS to keep your loved ones safe during the holiday season.
One tip is to shop only from trusted stores and online retailers to protect your family from common holiday-related hazards. Many unsafe or counterfeit products are sold through unverified third-party sites and can come from countries that may not have strict safety requirements. The CPSC urges consumers, especially parents and caregivers shopping for young children, to remain vigilant to prevent toy-related injuries and deaths. In addition, be proactive when choosing holiday decorations to keep family and friends safe.
Stay healthy and safe this holiday season!
